This limestone floor in Alderly Edge had a number of scratches, very dirty grout and an etch mark that ran down a number of tiles where a full glass of red wine had been spilt. You can see in the picture below that the tiles have dulled down due to the red wine eating into the marble and etching it.
To resolve all the problems with this floor and bring it back to it former glory and combination of system were used together. The first stage included applying a solutions which broke down the years if built up dirty and grease that was stuck to the grout and tiles. This solution was then left to dwell for 10 mins. The next step was to grind back the top of the limestone floor tiles using diamond polishing pads. This removes all the dirt, scratches, marks and imperfections, including the red wine mark. All the dirt, grease, solution and stone slurry are all then cleaned our using our unique hight pressure hit water extraction system. The result after this stage is a below.
